About Us

Our love story is rooted in our passion for dance and for each other. We’re a husband-and-wife team — professional Latin Ballroom partners, studio owners, and proud parents to two vibrant kids.

AndrĂŠ is a U.S. National Latin Champion, and Ching is a U.S. Vice Champion with a Ph.D. in Psychology from Stanford. Together, we help couples feel natural, connected, and completely themselves on the dance floor.

With over 30 years of combined coaching experience, we’ve trained hundreds of students and founded Firebeat Ballroom (est. 2009), one of Boston’s leading dance studios. Our shared mission is to help couples feel confident and connected through their first dance — blending championship-level technique with the science of learning and confidence.
